Meet Andrew Megison, DDS, MD

Dr. Megison is a native of Chattanooga, having grown up on Signal Mountain. He graduated from Baylor School before attending Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. After graduating with a degree in biology, he then was accepted to the LSU School of Dentistry.

Following dental school, he completed a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at LSU Health Science Center in New Orleans. During this time, he would also receive a medical degree from the LSU School of Medicine and complete a one-year internship in General Surgery. He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency with extensive training in dentoalveolar surgery, anesthesia including IV sedation, orthognathic/corrective jaw surgery, maxillofacial trauma, management of benign and malignant head and neck pathology, and soft/hard tissue reconstruction of the oral cavity and maxilla/mandible.

He currently holds privileges at all major hospitals in the Chattanooga area and became board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2022.

Outside of work, Dr. Megison enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, following LSU athletics, and listening to, playing, and collecting music.
