Meet Reed Turpin, DDS
Dr. Turpin is a Chattanooga area native having grown up in Cleveland, TN and graduating from the McCallie School in 2012. He attended The University of Tennessee Knoxville graduating summa cum laude with a degree in Biochemistry and Cellular & Molecular Biology.
Following undergrad, he attended the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis. Upon graduation, he was awarded the Deans Award for clinical excellence and William F. Slagle Faculty Medal in recognition of being Valedictorian of his class.
After dental school he completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. During this time he received extensive surgical training at the highest volume hospital in the state of Tennessee. His areas of interest include dental implants, full mouth rehabilitation, corrective jaw surgery and maxillofacial trauma.
He will hold privileges at Erlanger, and CHI Memorial hospitals in the Chattanooga area and eligible for board certification by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2025.
Outside of work Dr. Turpin enjoys spending time with family, traveling, aviation and outdoor recreation.
